Kee Heong Bah Kut Teh, Klang
When the word Klang is brought up...2 things naturally comes into mind for waisekmeows like me...seafood and bah kut teh ! Klang is said to have over 1000 BKT outlets .. Klang Bah Kut Teh is so famous that you can even find it in wikipedia !!!!
BKT from the traditional soupy type to dry ones and seafood BKT from creative restaurants......
Generally BKT to Klang is just like what Nasi Kandar is to Penang, you can find it at almost every corner and Klangites are knowns to be able to savour this soupy dish 3 times a day !!!!
One of my favorite is this popular Kee Heong in Taman Eng Ann..
Soy sauce (usually light soy sauce, but dark soy sauce is also offered sometimes) is preferred as a condiment, with which chopped chilli padi and minced garlic is taken together.
Yummy goodness..who can resist this ??? I am more of a traditionalist in BKT.I prefer to eat it from the bowl instead of the more popular claypot with veges and musgrooms etc. IMHO it spoils the taste !
